TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please read the following terms and conditions before making a booking with Let’s SUP

Bookings

Bookings can be made through the website, email or through facebook messenger.

We will send you a confirmation email with session and payment details. Your booking is confirmed once payment is received. Prior to the activity starting, you will be asked to complete a Registration Form in which you acknowledge the associated risk and disclose relevant medical information.

Participation

Stand Up Paddle Boarding may carry attendant risks. Participants must be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions and involvement.​ All sessions are staffed by appropriately qualified WSA Instructors and follow the WSA guidelines. All students must be over twelve years of age to participate in open sessions and be of a reasonable level of general fitness. Children aged 8-11 may however be considered on some private group sessions. Parental consent is required for individuals under the age of 18 participating in Let’s SUP stand up paddle boarding activities. In booking this activity the parent, guardian or authorised adult is agreeing that they have checked the conditions of participation for Stand up Paddle Boarding with Let’s SUP in full, agree to the conditions of participation and allow the person under 18 specified to participate.  

Cancellations

Whilst every reasonable attempt will be made to deliver sessions, Let’s SUP reserve the right to cancel or modify the session due to safety considerations or factors beyond our control. In the event of weather conditions that are unsafe to teach in, Let’s SUP may be forced to cancel lessons. Should this occur we will happily accommodate you on another suitable date or give you a full refund - whichever you prefer. However, Let’s SUP reserve the right not to refund fees paid if customers choose to cancel a booking or arrive too late to participate in their lesson/course. ​​

Liability and Insurance

All participants must be aware that outdoor activities are potentially dangerous and accept the risks associated with these activities. Let’s SUP instructors will always prioritise customer safety and we hold appropriate public liability insurance as part of our WSA coach qualification and membership. If participants choose to ignore reasonable instructions, our instructors have the right to exclude them from the whole or part of their session and cannot accept any responsibility for any liability, loss or expenses, or damages arising as a result. Let’s SUP is under no liability whatsoever in respect of loss or damage to property, however caused.​

Health and Safety

Due to the nature of Stand up Paddle Boarding, all participants must be physically fit and able to participate in sessions. Anyone with a medical condition or injury which may impede their ability to participate should consult their medical practitioner to assess their ability to participate. Let’s SUP must also be informed of any pre-existing medical conditions or injuries.Disabled persons may be able to participate in sessions, subject to the submission of details at the time of booking and to the approval of the qualified instructors.Participants must be able to swim (all students will be wearing a buoyancy aid) and be confident in open water (defined as 25 metres from land).All participants must meet the minimum age for the activity which is 12 years old. Glasses can be a hazard to you whilst participating in sessions. If you choose to wear glasses you must accept that injury may occur and accept full responsibility for any such injury.Let’s SUP reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone considered to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The instructor may require any participant to leave the session if that person acts in any such manner as to endanger himself/herself or any other Let’s SUP participant and/or water user. ​Participants must remain in the same group for the duration of the session. Places are non-transferable once the session has started.

Privacy and Image Use

We will never sell, rent or lease our customer information to third parties.We will not share or pass on any of your information to other parties unless there is a medical emergency. The contact information contained within the registration form is to ensure your safety whilst on one of our sessions. We will keep this information securely and delete/destroy on request or after 12 months.

We may use photography and video content taken during our courses or activities for Let’s SUP promotional materials and on our social media sites. Please inform us if you would prefer for your image and/or the image of your child not to feature in such pos
