We are offering both beginner/progression sessions lasting 1 hour 15 (£30 pp) and estuary tours lasting 2 hours 30 mins (£45 pp). These are open to single household/extended household groups of 1-8 people or socially distanced mixed households of up to 8 adults (with 2 instructors). The price includes all equipment and wetsuits (if you don't have your own). We will consider children aged 8 and above for tasters and 11 and above for tours (depending on the weather and group size). Paddle boarding/yoga parties for children/teens in year 6 (age 10/11) and above are also available on some dates in October and November (weather permitting).
These one hour sessions offer you a taste of paddle boarding and teach you the basics. £30/£35 per person including all equipment and wetsuits (and changing facilities in Aberdyfi). These sessions are subject to weather and tidal conditions so will be confirmed 24 hours before. The usual meeting point will be the north end of Tywyn beach car park or Dovey Yacht Club.
These one hour skills sessions are aimed at people who have done some paddle boarding before but would like to improve their skills and find out more about paddle boarding in this area. These can run parallel to taster sessions. Discount available if you have your own equipment.
If you would like individual focus then we can provide one on one instruction. The charge for this is £60 per hour and could be a good option if you feel less confident or if you have already learned to SUP but wish to focus on specific skills. All equipment is provided.
Paddle boarding in Aberdyfi: Our half day paddle board experiences are 2.5 hours long and take place in or around Aberdyfi usually around high tide in the morning or early afternoon. We offer small group sessions of 4 to 8 people for £49 per person including all SUP equipment, wetsuits and use of Dovey Yacht Club changing facilities. As well as learning the basics and developing your paddle skills, we take you on a short trip up and down the beautiful Dyfi estuary. The usual meeting point will be at Dovey Yacht Club but is subject to change depending on weather conditions. Sessions can be adapted for the full range of skill levels but you do need a good level of fitness to take part.
